This was the Super Bowl; the WrestleMania of TNA, and it was the 3rd one ever. Kurt Angle is defending his World Title in the main event against Sting after earlier in the month, Kurt attacked Sting's son after one of his football games and locked him in an ankle lock in a parking lot. Episode 121: WWF In Your House 17 - Ground Zero

This was a show after SummerSlam to get to a show to then get to Survivor Series. And even though this was sort of viewed as a "transition/throw away" show, it brought the goods. Not everything on this card was great, but there was enough good stuff here to keep the Marks interested. In turn, the Marks are bringing enough entertainment on this podcast to keep YOU interested. This was also the first 3-hour In Your House show. Stone Cold is still recovering from injury, so even though he's on all the promotional material, he doesn't wrestle here. He does, however, make an appearance and Stun some asses. Bret Hart defends his WWF Title against the Patriot in a very Canada vs. America type match. We get the WWF's first televised Triple Threat match and a Fatal Four Way Tag-Team Titles match. The Undertaker is also out for revenge against Shawn Michaels in a crazy main event you've got to see to believe. In September of 1988, Jim Crockett Jr. was getting ready to sell off NWA/JCP to Ted Turner, which would change wrestling forever. Episode 120: WCW Fall Brawl 1998 - WarGames

It was one of the biggest years in professional wrestling history but this event certainly wasn't one of the highlights of it. But, much like other horrible shows, Troy & Greg have a lot of fun with this one. This show was plagued by injuries, bad booking, and a new take on the WarGames match. Episode 118: TNA No Surrender 2007

Kurt Angle had NO SURRENDER in him this night as he defends 3 titles in 1 night. In match one, he teams with Sting to defend the Tag Titles against Ron "The Truth" Killings and suspended NFL player, Adam "Pacman" Jones, who can't touch anyone or be touched according to rules set forth by the NFL. In his second match, Kurt Angle defends his X-Division Title against "Black Machismo" Jay Lethal. Finally, in the main event, he defends the World Title against "The Monster" Abyss. Also on the card, Rhino faces James Storm...again, Black Reign takes on Chris Harris...again, and we find out the new #1 contenders for the Tag Titles. This and much more! This is quite possibly the greatest wrestling pay-per-view of all time! At the very least, it's in the top 2 or 3. We're going 20 years into the past to cover WWE SummerSlam 2002. Many things were in flux at this time in WWE. Steve Austin walked out and was arrested for domestic violence, the Rock was about to go film a movie, Brock Lesnar was proving he was "The Next Big Thing," Hulk Hogan's in-ring career was a bit more than winding down, Shawn Michaels is back and was about to start the second "prime" of his career after a 4 1/2 year absense, and the divide between Raw and SmackDown! was becoming bigger than ever. BONUS: WCW Nitro 100 (08-04-97)

On August 4, 1997, WCW celebrated their 100th Nitro by giving the fans a 3 hour show that capped off with Hollywood Hogan defending the World Title against Lex Luger! This show took place just days before their Road Wild pay-per-view at Sturgis where we would get a World Title rematch that saw this decision flipped. However, it still made for a hell of a 100th Nitro! Also on the card, we saw DDP take on Ric Flair, Syxx facing Chris Benoit, Booker T absolutely destroying Vincent, a laughable tag-team match between Public Enemy and High Voltage, the Giant takes on 3 men, and Alex Wright dances with the Nitro Girls. It seems as though JJ Dillon may have finally got the hint, though, and granted him a Starrcade match against Hogan. Macho Man fills in for Kevin Nash as Scott Hall's tag-team partner to defend the Tag Titles against Lex Luger and DDP, Curt Hennig refuses to answer whether or not he's joining the Four Horsemen, the Cruiserweight and TV Titles are on the line, and much more! This is the first and last SummerSlam to take place on a delay, the first to take place outside of the United States, and was the first and last (so far) to have the Intercontinental Title match close the show. The hometown hero of the British Bulldog is going for his brother-in-law, Bret Hart's IC Title in front of a capacity crowd at Wembley Stadium. Besides this, "Macho Man" Randy Savage defends the WWF World Heavyweight Title against the Ultimate Warrior while Ric Flair says that title shot should be his. On top of this, whose corner will Mr. Perfect be in? The LOD takes on Money Inc, Nailz and Virgil have a "match," Shawn Michaels and Rick Martel do battle while agreeing not to hit each other in their faces, and the Natural Disasters defend the WWF Tag-Team Titles against the Beverly Brothers who have the Genius in their corner. In the news, Pat Patterson is back in the WWF after being caught up in the infamous "ring boy scandal," Bill Watts is hacking and slicing away at WCW in multiple ways, everyone is trying to go drug free (either in reality or just making claims), plenty of big talent is rumored to be jumping ship from WWF to WCW to Japan, and Hulk Hogan is trying to negotiate a top spot in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
